Just a great week :)
This transfer is coming to a close and Sorella Erickson and I were
looking at our list of potentials and investigators and we couldn't
believe how many names have been added in these five weeks. Only two
people are really progressing, but it amazed us just how many people
there are that the Lord has blessed us with. In this short time we
have been super busy with members, going to parks, talking on buses,
and doing everything we could to just have someone to teach. Well, we
have been teaching and testifying and it's never been so great!
Spreading a message of truth with everyone is the most rewarding job.
Cool experience that happened this week... There is a super great
couple that lives by the Anziani and us. We've given them a Book of
Mormon and a restoration phamplet and have tried meeting with them but
they've just always been too busy. Well... I got a phone call Saturday
night from the brother of the husband of this couple saying he has
read the phamplet and has started the Book of Mormon and wants to be
baptized! What!?!? Probably the most amazing phone call I have ever
received in my life! He will be meeting with other missionaries in
Rome this week! Hopefully the couple that lives by us will come
around! This couple would be amazing missionaries! They already are
and they aren't even members!
Scambio! "Exchange" with the Rome 5 Sorelle! These sisters are none
other than my old dear companion Sorella Taylor and her greenie
Sorella Frogley. We had such a great scambio in our Rome 1 area and in
the morning we decided to send our greenies alone to a member
appointment and we would go do some finding. We went to a park and we
ended up finding a man who we teach there often so we read a little
bit in the Book of Mormon with him. Afterwards we saw two young girls
who had just finished exercising, sitting on a blanket so we decided
to go teach them. They are incredible! Biggest finding miracle from
the week! They are sisters, one is 16 and the other is 20. They don't
believe in the Catholic Church, but they go anyways because they want
to be close to God. They are superstars when it comes to responding to
our questions and we are so so so excited to meet with them again! I
was very grateful for the faith of Sorella Taylor and what a great
example she is for me! It was really great teaching with her after all
this time as our language is better and we feel like we now know what
we are doing. I'm super grateful for wonderful Sorelle in our zone!

with two sister in the ward to they met us right outside of the
Vatican City to go to a restaurant. It ended up being a Japanese
restaurant. I had to laugh that two American missionaries were right
next to the Vatican in Italy eating in a Japanese restaurant with two
Peruvian women. Love the mission :)
The Lord is so good. He loves us and knows us. We are very lucky to
have Him watching our backs and helping us in every moment. Hope
everyone always remembers to pray! He is always waiting for us! This
week I've had some things thrown on me at the last minute like
translating church meetings, teaching second hour, and random tasks
for members and literally the prayer and our dearest Padre Celeste is
the only reason why I was able to do these things. Tender tender
mercies!
